Rokus Loopik

Rokus Loopik is a Mental Health Nurse. He developed Mental Health Care for Homeless Individuals in Amsterdam for 18 years as an Outreach Worker and Head of the Rehabilitation Team for Homeless Individuals (Rehab Team). He worked for Pathways to Housing in New York and took their Housing First program to the Netherlands. Rokus trains ACT teams and is a regular (keynote) speaker on ACT, Homelessness and Housing First. He has been writing columns for the Street Journal of the Province of North-Holland for 12 years. He has developed and organized 10 Learning Expeditions to New York and the Netherlands for managers, mayors, directors, nurses, social workers, peers, psychiatrists and policymakers since 2002. His Study Tours received accreditation from the Dutch Association for Psychiatry. In the three days prior to this First European Congress on Assertive Outreach Rokus will organize a three day EAOF Study Tour in various cities and programs in the Netherlands.
