Marijke van Putten is psychiatrist and was CEO of Mental Health Institute (MHI) Noord Holland Noord (NHN). She worked for more then twenty five years as a psychiatrist, director and innovator. The MHI NHN is specialized in deinstitutionalization, recovery-oriented care, inventor of the Flexible ACT and Intensive Home Treatment and has a lot of experience in e-mental health, also for people with Severe Mental Illnesses. Marijke was member supervisory board of the center of excellence for people with personallity disorders in The Netherlands and member of the board of Phrenos, center of excellence for people with severe mental illnesses and member of the board of Th Social Run. She was chair of the museum of psychiatry, Dolhuys, at Haarlem. She is chair of the board of ‘Professorship of the history of Psychiatrie’ at the university of Utrecht, Netherlands and member of the board of the CCITP ( Crisis Coercion Intensive Treatment in Psychiatry) foundation.
